Costas Menegakis is a businessman and entrepreneur and is currently President and C.E.O. of Tilwood Inc. a national marketing and logistics company based in Ontario.
Costas firmly believes in building strong communities serving in various volunteer capacities for several non-profit organizations over the past 30 years. He is an ardent supporter of programs that offer services to families particularly to our youth and elderly. He has served on the Board of Directors of Accessible Media, the Metropolitan Toronto Police Chief’s Community Advisory Council, the Empire Club of Canada and various community based organizations.
Costas was elected to the House of Commons in 2011. In September 2013 Costas was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration. In Canada's 41st Parliament Costas also served as a member of the House of Commons Standing Committees for Citizenship and Immigration, Procedure and House Affairs, Official Languages and Government Affairs and Estimates.
He is a member of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, the Richmond Hill Board of Trade, the Rotary Club of York Region, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 375 and the Oak Ridges Lions Club.
Costas was awarded Her Majesty’s Queen Elizabeth II Gold and Diamond Jubilee Medals and is a recipient of Rotary International’s Paul Harris Fellow recognition.
Costas Menegakis was born in Montreal, is married to Gail and has two children. He is a graduate of Concordia University’s Faculty of Commerce and speaks three languages (English, French and Greek).
